My 16.5 mth toddler was on Isomil® 2 Advance® Soy Follow-on formula when she had diarrhoea for 2 week. At the first taste of Isomil® 2 Advance®, she gave us a funny look but did not 'throw' out. However, after the second attempt, she was fine with Isomil® 2 Advance®. For the past 2 weeks, she drank more Isomil® 2 Advance® than her regular formula. My two older sons are allergic to cow's milk. An ENT specialist advised me to start my children on soy products. Initially I was worried about the nutrients my sons would receive from soy milk compared to regular cow's milk. Martin has been having a lot of phlegm since birth and he'll have loose stools a few times a day. We brought him to see a doctor. He took a few courses of anti-biotics and it still doesn't work. We even brought him to KK and was given an antihistamine to be taken for 4-6 weeks. While taking the medicine, I called Abbott Nutrition Careline for advice. Was advised by the nurse advisor to switch Martin's milk to Isomil® 2 Advance® Soy Follow-on formula. I did just that and Martin stopped having phlegm & he only passes motion 1-2 times a day. Everything is back to normal now! If only I called Abbott Nutrition Careline earlier, Martin would have been saved from taking so many courses of anti-biotics! Am glad that the whole episode is over!
My son's fully breastfed till about 10 months and upon decision to wean him fully, my husband insisted on a reliable pharmaceutical brand name as opposed to milk companies. We went for a regular cow's milk formula but unfortunately, my son is allergic to cow's formula milk. How did we know? We fed Aiden the formula again and rashes appeared on his mouth and face. I started Joie on Isomil® 2 Advance® Soy Follow-on when she was about 2 months old when my babysitter found her stools a bit runny. We chose Isomil® 2 Advance® Soy Follow-on because it's a well known brand. She adapted well to Isomil® 2 Advance® Soy Follow-on and her stools changed to normal. I carried on with soy milk till she was 18 months. She maintained a good bowel system. I believe that it is because she took soy milk which is easier to digest.

Being a vegetarian, I have opted for Isomil® 2 Advance® Soy Follow-on for Glenda since birth. Though many of my friends used cow's milk, I felt soy milk was the right choice for my girl. When Isomil® switched to Isomil® 2 Advance® Soy Follow-on formula, it was a natural progression for me to move to the new formula as I have seen my girl grow up healthy and strong with Isomil®.
