Believe it or not! Most kids like messing around in the kitchen. Let them try out their hand at some fun and nutritious recipes. Not only will they have fun, they will actually benefit from the session. Here are some easy recipes to start of your adventures in the kitchen…
Serves 4
Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup self raising flour
½ cup Grow milk powder
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line cup cake tray with liners.
In a cake mixer, blend butter with sugar until well creamed.
Add eggs one at a time and continue to beat until well mixed.
Add 2 tbsp of flour at a time and fold into the creamed butter until all the flour is incorporated.
Fold in Grow milk powder a little at a time until well mixed.
Fill each cup cake liner with prepared cake mix till about ½ full.
Bake for 10 - 12 minutes at 180 degrees C or until the centre is done and the top is golden brown.
Remove from oven and cool.
Serve plain or with sugar icing (if desired).

Ingredients
Grow milk powder 3 scoops
Ice cold water ½ cup
Fresh fruit of choice, cubed, ½ cup (e.g. ripe mangoes, sweet strawberries, bananas or papayas)
Method
Place all items in the blender. Blend at top speed until well mixed. Serve immediately.

Ingredients
Grow milk powder 6 scoops
Low fat yogurt ½ cup
Ripe sweet mango, cubed, ½ cup
Ripe sweet strawberries, cubed, ½ cup
Ripe sweet papaya, cubed, ½ cup
Ripe banana, cubed, ½ cup
Method
Place Grow milk powder and yogurt in the blender.
Blend at top speed until well mixed.
Divide into four portions. Blend each portion of the milk-yogurt mixture with a fruit and pour into a popsicle stick.
Chill in the freezer until well frozen. Unmould and serve.
