Avillion Resort - Port Dickson
Just a 3-hour drive from Tuas, this is one of our favourites as we love the water chalet facing the Straits of Malacca (Comes with day bed big enough for 2 children and a beautiful view!).
Choose the Kiddies Treat Package (3 Days 2 Nights - for a family of 2 adults and 2 children) Prices range from RM$730.
Keep you children occupied with the following activities:
– Sand art at the Kids Cabin
– Picnic at the private beach
– Animal feeding at the Pet Farm and aviary
– Swimming (There's a kids pool with slides)
– Fishing or catching crabs from your room (if you choose the water chalet)
– Watch the sunset from your room or the boardwalk
– Karaoke
– Tennis
What's more, the package comes with lots of goodies for the kids. You may also go to the Ostrich Farm in Port Dickson for other activities.

A trip on board the cruise ship would be good especially when you are bringing young children along.

It'll have to be of the resorts in Bali, such as Nisa Dua, where an entire day is packed with programmes and activities arranged by the resort. Many of them are suitable for children of various age groups.
For local attractions in Singapore that are easily accessible, one can consider a day trip to Sentosa to visit the Underwater World and play with rides.
Alternatively, just take pleasure in simple nature walks, picnics, and bungalow stays in Changi Village.

I'd say the cruise, with many activities to do onboard e. g. swimming, playing games at the video arcade, joining onboard activities like learning origami, rock climbing, golfing, board games, reading in the library, spa services. One enjoys 5 meals a day, with kids' corner for buffets. Alternatively, depending on your cruise package, you can choose to disembark and go on land tour if the ship reaches a particular destination, or remain onboard to enjoy the services.

Genting Highlands. The weather is cool; the resort is value-for-money, and not too expensive for low-income families.

In my opinion, one of the best family holidays to visit is Tasmania, Australia. Tasmania is child-friendly and clean, and guests can request for baby cot from hotels (subject to availability), the environment is peaceful, and there are lots of interesting national parks, home cafes, museums, hilly mountains, big field, vines, and farms to explore.
Self-drive holiday is the best means to explore Tasmania with your child, driving from one place to another at your own time, So put up in each hotel for (a maximum of) 2 days, then proceed to drive to the next destination. I think around 5 days and 3 nights stay in Tasmania is good enough.

Beach resorts like Phuket, Bali and Bintan. Not only do the kids get to play with sand, they can swim and enjoy water sports. Parents can also swim or relax at the pool for a tan or massage. It's the perfect solution for the whole family. At nights, everyone can have a nice stroll at the night market for some shopping.
