I will stop all milk-based products immediately and switch to soy-based milk. Other steps taken include (a) making sure my child is hydrated, (b) giving simple bland food like porridge or clear soup, and (c) making sure my child rests a lot.

Give them plenty of water. If they don't like to drink plain water, let them have soy milk every 1.5 hours. Another alternative is to let them have "diluted" porridge, for the purpose of keeping them hydated, then bring them to see a PD.

We will stop giving them the current milk that they are taking. We will switch to Isomil (mixed with glucose water) to give a little bit of sweetness to entice the kids to drink so that they can get energy as well as sufficient fluids to prevent dehydration.

I'll give Lacteol Fort & switch to Isomil Soy Milk for my twin boys when they start to have diarrhoea. I'll also give them lots of water to prevent dehydration.

I will call my PD and assess the situation with her about my baby's diarrhoea. If the problem persists for more than 2 days, I will start her on soy formula accompanied by medication or supplement from the doctor (from the previous visit).

The first thing I would do is to prevent the child from dehydration by giving enough water mixed with either electrolyte or even salt. Then take him to a paediatrecian immediately.
