Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible to provide leadership and direction to the Plant in relation to all compliance matters
  • Responsible for the internal and external audit program and ensure compliance to all policies and standards
  • Write and review plant procedures relating to compliance activities and ensure that procedures meet Abbott’s policies and regulatory agencies
  • Ensure co-ordination, management and leadership to the HACCP and ISO programs, conduct hazard analysis and risk assessment relating to manufacturing systems
  • Maintenance of the factory license, ISO, HACCP and Halal certifications, including any relevant certifications related to product release and factory operations (except EHS)
  • Responsible for product complaint, investigation, updating complaint status and preparation of final report
  • Collate data and trending for management review meeting
  • Drive Lean / Sigma continuous improvement projects / initiatives within the Department


Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Food Science / Food Technology / Chemistry or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience with the past 2 - 3 years in a managerial/supervisory position
  • Good practical knowledge of cGMP in Food / Pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Knowledge of HACCP and ISO systems will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for all aspects of label editing, development, approval and control
  • Coordinate the registration packages and other information for affiliates in line with new and on-going developments
  • Ensure all label development and editing is carried out within budgetary limits and provide information/data for the plan, updates and individual projects as required.
  • Provide support and coordinate with materials management, affiliates, project teams and suppliers to meet market availability demands

Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Food Science/Dairy Science or equivalent discipline
  • Familiarity with GMP, GDP and HACCP regulations and best practice
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
  • Good communication and report writing skill
  • Familiar with MS office tools

Plant Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the Mechanical and Electrical & Instrumentation sections to ensure smooth day to day engineering operations.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure safe and successful process in dryer area and that all manufacturing production requirements are met in terms of engineering support and utilities supplies
  • Support all Plant EHS and Quality initiatives and targets
  • Develop capital project plans for engineering operations and ensure timely and safe execution of projects
  • Responsible to review and approve specific documentations, procedures and site change control processes for equipment and process
  • Drive Lean/Sigma continuous improvement projects/initiatives within the Department.


Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • At least 15 years in engineering position with last 5 years in a managerial position.
  • Broad engineering skills and experience in maintenance, utility, automation, instrumentation and project management in chemical / pharmaceutical / nutritional industry
  • Strong engineering problem solving skills, workload resource planning and prioritization skills and a mindset of continuous challenge and improvement to current operations
  • Excellent business and customer focus with ability to multi-tasking and working under pressure

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible to ensure that all qualification and validation activities related to Automated Process System (APC) are properly planned and executed in a timely manner in accordance with relevant policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Provide technical support and guidance for execution of APC System validation projects to ensure compliance and to maintain the system in a ready validated state.
  • Participate in APC System activities related to investigation in identify the root cause and to implement corrective action in timely manner.
  • Preparation and review of validation related deliverables such as requirements, specifications, protocols, and SOPs to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in development and test activities throughout the APC System’s development life cycles where required.
  • Provide guidance on interpretation of APC System validation-related requirements and specifications.
  • Drive Lean/Sigma continuous improvement projects/initiatives within the Department.


Qualifications/Experience

  • Degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering / IT or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in Pharmaceutical / Nutritional environment with 5-7 years of technical experience in automated manufacturing system or business system engineering
  • Hands-on experience in SCADA and PLC is preferred
  • Experience in cGMP for execution of projects in a large pharmaceutical/ nutritional plant will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrated ability to deliver results
  • Excellent communication skills is essential to succeed in this position
