Beach & Park Cleaning DayTo help celebrate World Environment Day on June 20, 2009, AMS marked held its first ever "Beach & Park Cleaning Day in Singapore's East Coast Park. The event was jointly sponsored by National Parks Singapore, the National Environment Agency staff and, the AMS' Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team. AMS employees and their' families gathered at one of the beach shelters to register and hear a quick safety briefing before embarking on the clean-up. The mission was to collect as much rubbish as possible within the park and along the beach. Prizes were awarded to those who managed to find specially labeled bottles that read, "Please Pick Me Up".
