Tree Planting At Choa Chu Kang Park
It was a rainy morning and the event started with a briefing by the National Park’s personnel. Following the briefing, participants from Abbott Manufacturing Singapore (AMS) proceeded to the site allocated for planting the trees. A demonstration was first given by the National Park’s personnel on how to carry out the tree planting, after which participants were allowed to plant their own trees. The AMS team planted four trees, signifying the Four Abbott Values of Pioneering, Achieving, Caring and Enduring. At the end of the day, the AMS team was tired, satisfied and happy in spite of their muddy shoes!
How to plant a tree:
1. Dig a hole,
2. Remove the plastic bag from the base of the tree,
3. Hold the tree upright,
4. Fill the hole with soil,
5. Water the tree. (It is that easy!)
