As a company, we constantly re-assess our citizenship obligations and opportunities throughout the region, and we continue to develop our strategies, processes and methodologies. - Making medicines and health care more accessible and affordable through our own policies, along with wider engagement and investment with health care partners around the world. In 2008, Abbott's patient assistance programs helped more than 155,000 patients with donated and discounted Abbott products valued at more than US$255 million.
