What are FOS?

  • FOS, a kind of soluble fibre, promote growth of "good" bacteria. This helps maintain the balance of microorganisms in the digestive tract. Good bacteria help prevent growth of harmful bacteria that can cause diarrhoea and other illnesses.
  • FOS help maintain a normal intestinal microflora
  • FOS help improve bowel function
  • Natural sources of FOS include onions, bananas, shallots, wheat and garlic
