Parents listening attentively to Ms Anna Jacob's tips on how to cope with fussy eating.
It was an informative afternoon full of positive parenting tips for more than 380 eager parents who attended the "Complete Ways to Raise a Well-balanced Child" Parenting Masterclass on 19 April 2008.
Held at the Meritus Mandarin Hotel and hosted by Ms Lisa Ang, former Channel News Asia producer / presenter, the Masterclass kicked off with introductions from Ms Tara Barker, Editor in chief of The Singapore Women's Weekly and Ms Michelle Lim, Business Manager of Abbott Nutrition.
Participants started taking notes attentively as Dr Jennifer Kiing, a Paediatrician from National University Hospital and a specialist in behavioural studies shared tips on how to positively manage children through their disobedience, temper tantrums and fussy eating behaviour.

Ms Anna Jacob, Nutritionist / Dietician, continued the event by advising on what foods are appropriate to feed children at their different age stages. Ms Jacobs also brought attention to the common problem of fussy eating and gave smart solutions to aid parents in coping with their little picky eaters.
To end off the masterclass, Ms Cheryl Chia, a Paediatric Physiotherapist from Brain Revolution helped parents to realize that every child is unique and that understanding their child is the first step to assisting them to learn and to become more self-motivated.
