Kenny Toh is a professional coach and parent educator. He holds a double-degree from Monash University (Australia) and was previously a manager with Accenture, a leading global management and technology consulting company. Fuelled by a passion for personal development, he subsequently ventured into professional coaching and adult learning. He is presently the principal coach at The Coaching Academy and Institute of Advanced Parentology. Besides coaching and training business leaders, he also conducts courses for parents as well as training and certification programmes for professional practitioners of Advanced Parentology.
As a passionate father of two, Kenny is also the leading advocate for Parents-as-Coaches and Non-Punitive Discipline in Singapore. Since 2005, he has worked personally with parents of young children and teenagers on a wide range of parenting challenges. As a well sought after parenting coach and educator, Kenny has been invited to speak at various public seminars such as Positive Parenting Congress (2009), Great Parenting Seminar (2007), and Joyful Parenting Conference (2006) as well as private audiences at government institutions, corporate organisations, and schools. His insights and writings on parenting-related topics have been featured in publications such as Readers’ Digest Asia, Straits Time’s Mind Your Body, Young Parents, Today’s Parents, Family Magazine, Mother and Baby, and Young Families.
Kenny is also the author of A Concise Guide to the NEW RULE for Positive Parenting, an ebook which introduces seven enduring principles for parenting with greater joy, peace and fulfilment.
